Joan is a former executive with the international ad agencies of McCann Erickson and Ogilvy and Mather, where she successfully manage multi-faceted advertising and marketing projects for a broad spectrum of Fortune 100 companies including Exxon, Texas Instruments, Time Warner, HP and Continental Airlines. In these roles, she was responsible for strategy development and day-to-day management of creative and media teams, media buyers, and legal and production staff; and was responsible for ensuring that branding and marketing messages were consistently communicated across numerous media types including TV, radio, print, outdoor, promotional, direct mail, co-op marketing tactics. More recently, Joan has served as an independent consultant, helping clients to operationalize strategic initiatives into tactical marketing, sales and customer service programs; and managing complex cross-functional projects for both B2B and consumer product clients. Most recently with Sand Cherry, Joan has helped to lead a project to develop and manage the implementation of a strategic cross-industry initiative targeted at movers. Joan received her MBA from the Wharton School of Business and her undergraduate degree from Temple University
